Tourism NT lists three room types for the hotel. Here is how they compare, and which one fits which trip.
The hotel has 205 rooms and suites, and each of them opens onto a private balcony or a courtyard. That figure appears in Tourism NT's listing and in the operator's 2021 sale announcement, so you can rely on it. Room-by-room detail is less well published: the IHG booking page refused our server, and the operator's own site describes rooms mainly inside package offers. What follows uses Tourism NT's descriptions, cross-checked against Lasseters' package pages and its 2018 refurbishment release.
| Type | Sleeps | Size | Beds | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard King | 2 | 39 m² | One king | Work desk, minibar, safe |
| Standard Twin | 4 | 39 m² | Two queens | Separate bath and shower |
| Premium | 2 | Not published | King or twin queen | Original Aboriginal artwork, range, golf or pool views |
Source: Tourism NT's accommodation listing, read on 31 October 2026. Lasseters' own package pages name two of these differently, as the King Deluxe Room and the Premium Room, which suggests the listing's 'Standard King' and the hotel's 'King Deluxe' are the same product. Ask the desk to confirm if the label matters to you.
What changed in 2018
Lasseters announced a $6.25 million refurbishment of 139 rooms to Crowne Plaza and IHG standards. Walk-in showers and illuminated vanity mirrors went in, and new paintings by local Indigenous artists joined the Lasseters Collection, which the release puts at more than 150 pieces made for the hotel's rooms. The release says 62 per cent of the spend went to local builders, suppliers and artists. Since 139 is fewer than 205, some rooms may not have been part of that round; if a walk-in shower matters, say so in your request.
What every room shares
- Balcony or courtyard
- Tea and coffee making, a fully stocked minibar, an in-room safe
- Free wifi (Tourism NT lists it among facilities)
- Room service from the Crowne Plaza menu, which the operator offers as a download
- Non-smoking rooms
Choosing by trip
Two adults out in the ranges all day: the king room is enough, and you will spend little time inside it. A family of four or two friends who do not want to share a bed: the twin with two queens, which Tourism NT lists as sleeping four. A longer stay, an anniversary, or a room you want to sit in during the hot middle of the day: the premium room, with the larger screen, the media hub and a view chosen from the ranges, the golf course or the pool.
Groups booking several rooms for a conference at the convention centre should mention that in the request. The hotel runs separate group handling through the centre, covered on Meetings and groups.
Price, honestly
We do not quote nightly rates, because they change daily. For orientation only: Tourism NT's listing showed rooms 'from $150' when we checked on 31 October 2026. See the Tourism NT listing. Lasseters also runs a Book Early & Save rate with extra savings when you book seven days ahead. Our desk replies with the actual rate for your dates.
Not described anywhere we could read: suites, accessible room layouts, room sizes for the premium category, and which floors face the ranges. We would rather leave a gap than guess.
