By air
Alice Springs Airport is on Santa Teresa Road, south of town. Its own destination list names direct flights to and from Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne and Sydney, plus Tennant Creek. Tourism NT adds that Qantas, Virgin Australia and Jetstar run domestic flights into the Territory, and that there are daily flights between Uluṟu, Alice Springs and Darwin. The terminal opens an hour and a half before the first departure of the day.

The convention centre's older transfers page quotes a lower shuttle fare from a previous season. We print the airport operator's current figure instead.
By rail: the Ghan
The Ghan runs between Adelaide and Darwin through Alice Springs, and Journey Beyond sells the Adelaide to Alice and Alice to Darwin legs separately. Tourism NT puts the run from Adelaide to Alice Springs at around 21 hours. The town's station is 3.7 km from the hotel by road. The Ghan on Journey Beyond.
By road
The Stuart Highway runs north from South Australia and south from Darwin. The convention centre puts Alice Springs 1,531 km north of Adelaide and 1,497 km south of Darwin. Tourism NT says 95 per cent of the Territory's attractions can be reached on sealed highways, which is true of the run into town; it is less true of the roads you will want once you are here. Parking and drop-off
Tourism NT lists a car park among the hotel's facilities and an electric vehicle charging point. The operator does not publish a parking charge on pages we could read, so we do not print one. The convention centre's accessibility guide describes free accessible bays near each main entrance, covered drop-off at the hotel, casino and convention centre doors, and a taxi and ride-share drop-off within five metres of an entrance.
Arriving with a trailer, a camper or a 4WD with a roof tent? Ask where to park before you arrive; height and length limits are not published. Mention it in the notes of your request and our desk asks for you.
